In recent years, due to expected exponential growth of Internet of Things (IoT), there is huge demand for adapting IoT in many key situations like day to day life, Industries, Healthcare Systems, Education Systems, Smart Cites, Smart Grid, etc. It is also clearly evident that, IoT technology generates huge demand for job opportunities and revenues, particularly in the Information Technology sector. Thus, there is definite raising demand for IoT professionals. This aspect is highly motivating to guide students to learn this technology.

IoT is an amalgamation of hardware and software, the students will be exposed to learn and harness their skills in both concepts and technology thoroughly. We provides laboratory based IoT course named IoT workshop for the engineering students where we are sure to make our students not only aware but also confident enough to persue this subject in future both theoretically and practically.

Following courses are specially designed for the Third Year & Final Year B.Tech students of CSE, ECE, IT, EE who have basic knowledge on Microprocessors & Programming.

 

 

Course 1

4 Weeks (16 hrs) Practical Workshop on IOT using ArduinoKit and ESP8266 in a Team (group of 8 members)


SLOT 1 : 10 AM to 2 PM (Saturday) : Course commences soon.

SLOT 2 : 3 PM to 7 PM (Sunday) : Course commences soon.

Course Fees : Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two Throusand Five Hundred Only.)

 

Duration : 4 hours

  • Introduction to IOT
  • Domain specific IOTs (Home, Cities, Environment, Agriculture etc)
  • Introduction to Arduino UNO / Node MCU, ESP01
  • Introduction to Embedded C programming.
  • Main Functions in ARDUINO IDE (Development environment for ARDUINO).

Duration : 4 hours

  • Interfacing Electronic Digital (I/O) Hardware peripherals: LED, BUZZER, relay interface , LCD interface, ambient Temperature sensor, Humidity sensor , flow sensor etc. Involving adc interface, digital interface , Interrupt handling etc

Duration : 8 hours

  • Introduction to NODEMCU- ESP 01 (Wi-Fi Module)
  • Communication between Arduino UNO and NodeMCU.
  • Circuit Diagram and code explanation
  • IOT- Developing ThingSpeak API to update sensor values to a Cloud.

 

 

Course 2

12 Weeks (48 hrs) Advanced Workshop on IOT using Arduino Kit and NodeMCU, ESP32 in a Team (group of 8 members)

Course Fees : Rs. 7000/- (Rupees Seven Throusand Only.)

  • Main Functions in ARDUINO IDE (Development environment for ARDUINO).

  • Interface of RTC
  • Interface of SD card
  • Temperature Datalogger in SD card

Duration : 28 hours

  • Introduction to NODEMCU - ESP 01 (Wi-Fi Module) (2 hrs)
  • ESP-12E Node MCU kit pin details / Programming the ESP 8266 module with Arduino IDE (2 hrs)
  • Communication between Arduino UNO and NodeMCU and ESP 01 (2 hrs)
  • ESP 8266 based web server (4 hrs)
  • IOT - Developing ThingSpeak API to update sensor values to a Cloud. (2 hrs)
  • Getting started with ESP 32 (2 hrs)
  • Building sensor monitoring using ESP32 (2 hrs)
  • ESP32 based WI-FI development (2 hrs)
  • Scanning Wi-Fi hotspot (2 hrs)
  • ESP32 based web server (2 hrs)
  • Esp 32 and thingspeak communication (2 hrs)
  • Building an IOT weatherstation using ESP 32 (4 hrs)
